For about a hundred years skiing sports are practised in Grindelwald. With a sightview on the marvellously snow-covered mountain panorama, being composed of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, the region offers about 44 mountain railways and ski-lifts. For your snow pleasure there are 200 km of well-prepared ski runs with runways and ski slopes from about 6-12 km of length and more than 40% of the ski runs can be artificially snow-covered. Whether ski, snowboarding or sleigh horse, Grindelwald offers pure winter fun for everybody, even for winter hikers or Grindelwald Velogemel-test drivers (the Velogemel is a unique snow-bike from Grindelwald). The mountain world can be explored on well-prepared 100 km large winter hiking-paths.

The area of the children's ski school is only 400 m away from our hotel.

In the „glacier-village“ Grindelwald, boredom is a non-word. There are many possible activities for you: mountaineering centre, Curling, ice skating, Fitness, Paragliding, County museum, Skittles, children`s ski school, cross-country skiing, night skiing, sauna, sledding , snowshoeing, swimming, skiing and Snowboarding, Wellness/Sauna/Solarium and Winter Hiking.

Terrainpark & Superpipe (5,5 m Radius) are located on the First.

Grindelwald : Altitude 1‘050 to 2‘950 Meter with 205 trackkilometers (30% eays, 50% middle und 20% difficult) with 50 lifts, 80 km winter hiking trails, 50 km sled tracks and 20 trailkilometers.
